L.A. Times Khalidi Videotape: 2 Explosive Quotes Leaked
October 29, 2008The LA Times is continuing this recent tradition of deciding which news which doesn’t fit its editorial room political views it will allow its readers to see.
However, highly-reliable blogger, Doug Ross has a RED ALERT: Two Quotes from the Obama-Khalidi Video the LA Times won’t release. DBKP worked with Ross on the John Edwards scandal story and he’s proved careful and reliable in the past–both in his use of sources and in his reporting.
From Ross’ usually-reliable LA source:
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can’t release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying:
“Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine” plus there’s been “genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis.”
It would be really controversial if it got out. That’s why they will not even let a transcript get out.
To which Ross replies: “Yep, I guess that would do it”
The McCain campaign and conservative websites have called upon the Times to release the video.
CALL THE L.A. TIMES offices at (213) 237-5000, fax a request to release the video or complaint against their current stance to (213) 237-7679.
Trust, But Verify 
If that is true, than that is worse than I first thought. My initial impression was that others made anti-semetic comments and Obama later toasted the “host”. If Obama actually made the comments…Yikes.
Funny, I thought any reliable website would post a contact. Don’t see one, don’t think reliable.

Stop crying, the story links to Doug Ross, who’s sources are very reliable. If you didn’t just surf the left wing blogosphere, you would know that the right also has our own people doing to the mainstream media’s work. This is damaging for Obama whether the tape comes out or not. Suck it up – the gap is closing, and Marxists everywhere are freaking out.

It is the right of the American people to know what were electing into office. If these statements were made and there is a video tape to the affect. It is the duty of the Media, La times to release this! They obviously dont want to harm their choice candidate!
“The Issues”… it seems we only hear what we want from the candidates on “the issues”, and ignore what we don’t want to recognize. Personal opinions of the candidates can’t always even influence legislation, let alone make it. That’s the job of congress. So, yes, honesty, transparency, character, loyalty, integrity, and a willingness to serve are very much topics to be considered in selecting someone to work for you. I’m not seeing much honesty from Barack Obama. He simply tells each group what they want to hear, regardless of whether it is contrary to what he just told another group… and our desire to achieve our “Issue” makes us blind to his deception.

So the LA Times won’t release a transcript of the tape in question, let alone let people decide for themselves by viewing it. How different would their stance on their ‘source’ be if it were McCain toasting David Duke at some function? This all just goes to show how much we should trust professional ‘journalists’, who with their sins of omission are about as trustworthy as Pravda.
Why is that if someone says something bad about Israel, it has to be WRONG!? The Holocaust was bad, but hey get over it! It is bad enough black people are still talking about slavery and some Mexicans still claim California as theirs. I am Mexican myself but I do have some common sense. Israel was a made up country after WWII in Palestinian territory to put all the Jews in. I am sure if the UN suddenly dropped a bunch of French men and threw them in Florida and called it theirs and all Americans had to move out I am sure you wouldn’t like it. I could care less about Israel, I am living in the USA and I want the issues at home fixed before they look to other places. There is enough gang violence in Los Angeles and throughout the country. Put the soldiers there fighting the drug dealers… or would that hurt the Republicans who bring it in? Or have we forgotten Reagan and Bush?

As a citizen of this great country, I feel that it is my right to be given freely all information that is available to help me make a responsible, educated decision as to who I want to cast my vote for. The LAT is hindering that right, they are witholding that information. I think that I will have to make my decision based on the fact that something smells fishy in LA….if Obama loses, it’s on them…..

Last night it was reported to Greta that the award winning blogger Doug Ross a notable blogger for his accuracy and an award winner stated he had viewed the tape. He states that Obama congratulates Khalidi for his work saying, “Israel has no – God given right to occupy Palestine plus there has been a genocide against the Palestinian people by Isreal.
I am sure you have the resources to verify this information.

They should be in desperation mode as should every other American. We can’t let Obama be elected. I don’t fully trust any politician, but Obama and his past is downright scary. I’m talking about the factual stuff that we do know about him, not the conspiracy crap. I just can’t believe how blind so many Americans are. Please take a second look at Obama, what we do know about him and things he has said before you vote for him.
